This learning board contains 4 blocks of printed hardwood which can be used to create up to 64 different identikit faces! Each face will look different and show different emotions. Children start by removing the 4 blocks of hardwood from the board before placing them back, one at a time. To make a complete face they need to look carefully at each block in turn and select the hair, the eyes, the nose and the mouth. A dice can be used to help with the selection process or be used as part of a fun game. Children can use the resource alone or play in small groups leading to discussions about the emotions on show and their own emotions. An adult can join in, talking to the children about this as they play.
